4-Wheeler raffle 2010
Sorry the Bethany Fire Dept will not be doing the very popular raffle this year.
We appreciate your support and thank you for your donations to our Dept.
Shannon, a Bethany resident, shared this comment:
We have been residents of Bethany for over 30 years, and like
most we took our volunteers for granted. Then a few years ago my dad really started to get ill. We had to call for an ambulance several times, and every time they arrived very quickly and with so much compassion. Over the years I've had to call on different companies for different reasons, and I can honestly say I have never had a run in with another company that is more
caring and heartfelt than the crew at Bethany.
Some of the volunteers stopped by the house periodically to see how my dad was doing and to make sure everything was going well. My dad passed away last May, when one of the volunteers stopped by to check up on things not knowing of his passing,
started to cry when we gave them the bad news. If anyone has the misfortune of needing assistance in Bethany, you can thank your (some what) lucky stars that you will receive the best and most
heartfelt care.
The town of Bethany is blessed to have so many people willing to give up their time for our safety and that they lead with their
hearts. I can not thank the entire department for everything that they all did for my father and the rest of the community.
We are always welcoming new volunteers.
Please come in on any Monday night 7pm - 10pm for an application or just stop in and say Hi and take a look at your Department.
After all, we are here anytime of the day or night to help you, in any situation.
